Markpoint’s president, Howard Schottenstein, grew up in a family that has been a cornerstone of the central Ohio building industry for more than 50 years.

Before founding Markpoint in 1980, Schottenstein worked in the Schottenstein family businesses, building homes, apartments and commercial buildings.

The Markpoint team has the skills to create beautiful, highly functional spaces.

Markpoint has built and remodeled buildings ranging from single family homes and condominium communities, to apartments, medical offices, warehouses, religious sanctuaries, shopping centers, restaurants and office buildings.

Schottenstein works closely with his clients to problem-solve and make improvements as a project evolves. A budget-conscious manager, he is resourceful about finding ways to save money for his buyers.

Whatever he is working on, Schottenstein brings a philosophy ingrained in him by his father, Leonard Schottenstein, the late building industry investor and property manager: make your clients as happy and satisfied as you can.
